Head of state Donald Trump proclaimed Friday that Microsoft needs to terminate Lisa Monaco, the firm’s head of state of global events.
Citing her roles as “an elderly National Protection assistant under Barack Hussein Obama, and a Lawfare and Weaponization stressed Deputy Attorney General under Crooked Joe Biden and Lisa’s Puppet ‘Manager’ Attorney General Merrick Garland,” Trump uploaded on Truth Social that Monaco’s existing role provides her access to “Highly Delicate Info,” which he deemed “undesirable.”
“It is my point of view that Microsoft need to promptly end the employment of Lisa Monaco,” he wrote.
As Trump noted, Monaco collaborated with both Barack Obama and Joe Biden, including as a deputy attorney general under the Biden administration. Trump retracted Monaco’s safety clearance previously this year, in the an order that did the same for Biden, Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, and the Biden family.
TechCrunch has reached out to Microsoft for comment. Monaco signed up with the firm in May , handling a duty that supervises the firm’s cybersecurity policy, in addition to its connections with world federal governments.
Far-right lobbyist and Trump ally Laura Loomer has consistently criticized Microsoft for working with Monaco in articles on X, including an article grumbling that Microsoft chief executive officer Satya Nadella was “birthed in India” and charging him of “disgraceful fraudster actions.” On Friday, Loomed triumphantly quoted Trump’s message and once again contacted the head of state to “cancel every one of Microsoft’s federal government agreements.”
This isn’t the first time Trump has actually targeted a tech executive since going back to office. He previously claimed that Intel Head of state Lip-Bu Tan must “resign instantly” over alleged conflicts of rate of interest. Then, after Intel provided the federal government a 10 % stake in exchange for financing currently dedicated by the Biden administration , Trump defined Tan as a “Very Highly Regarded Ceo.”
